During my assessment the practitioner who I spoke to I thought was very unprofessional. They told me I was overexaggerating when I spoke to them in confidence about my past history, trauma and all things life related. They then also said I didn't need support because I had a job, despite poor attendance of this due to my mental health, which they also didn't ask about. I feel they just took it for face value that I had a job and therefore I was fine.
When I received the letter from the assessment, I noticed errors in my formulation. Despite me being quite clear about my suicidal thoughts and intent, they wrote that I took overdoses but reflects that I now dont do this as I don't want to impact others and sees them as protective factors. When in fact I said quite the opposite and stated I didn't have any protective factors. Despite repeated calls to the crisis team and the duty worker nothing has been done, despite me clarifying my heightened distress and has left me with no support.
"Left me with no support."
