"Caring and compassionate staff"

About: Ward 19

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended ward 19 today with my teenage daughter. She needed some bloods (after having 5x failed attempts at the GP surgery and developed a phobia).

We were met with Pamela at the outpatients clinic. I would like to send my thanks to Pamela for my making my daughter feel safe and reassured. I believe Pamela was a nursery nurse. She was aware of her fears and was able to show tremendous care and compassion. She successfully obtained her bloods. My daughter felt this was a very positive experience although please note...if she required bloods in the future she will be requesting Pamela! Thank you

Hi Mother brownlie

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback to us. I am delighted to hear that your daughter had a positive experience having her bloods taken and felt safe and reassured by Pamela.

I will pass your positive feedback onto Pamela who will be delighted to hear that her caring and compassionate approach to the procedure resulted in a positive outcome for you and your daughter.

Kind regards

Mhairi Ward
