OT appointment to discuss my child’s sensory needs, assessing whether neurodiversity diagnosis or sensory. Initial consultation to discuss - it was really helpful that it was a quickly received appointment and it was face- to- face to allow an open discussion rather than a phone call.
ADHD discussion, disappointed at the long wait time for CAHMS referral and that OT cannot send the referral, it needs to go back to the school for referral back over to CAHMS, as this has been rejected due to needing OT first - I think this could be a better planned referral structure.
The OT was very open and informed. It was a very helpful appointment.
