Unfortunately I tested positive for Covid for the first time yesterday. As someone who was in the highest risk group, shielded and had accessed all vaccinations I managed to avoid it for some time!
I had heard various worrying stories about accessing antiviral medication throughout the UK. I just want to say a huge thank you to NHS Lanarkshire in making this process very straightforward and stress free. I phoned the NHS Lanarkshire Flow? Centre contact number at 7:46am, had a return call just after 9am with a doctor and medication available to collect before 10am. Although I have no recollection of names (only recall they were all female) I would like to thank the person initially taking my details, the doctor who called back and determined appropriate treatment and the person who then provided instruction on collection arrangements. All 3 were very helpful and made the experience stress free!
"Experience in accessing Covid antiviral medication."
