"High quality care"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Older people's healthcare The Ulster Hospital / Ward 6D (General Medicine)

(as a relative),

My dad has been slowly declining in the last 13 months. From someone who never saw a doctor he became reliant on NHS care over the last year of his life.

He was a frequent visitor of ward 6D Ulster Hospital and the care he received was always first class. We always knew he was well cared for & that the nurses working with him were top of their game.

He passed away on at the end of June 2023. Right up to the end he was given dignity, respect & high quality care from all staff he & we encountered. It was his time, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you from the whole family circle

Dear limasd45

Thank you very much for sharing the care journey experienced by your father and your family.

I am very sorry that your father has passed but very much heartened to know that you felt that he was in good hands and in receipt of good quality, compassionate and respectful care from the staff of Ulster Hospital Ward 6D.

I have passed on your positive feedback to the 6D team who greatly appreciate your kind words and to know that their contribution has been so meaningful to your family.

I wish you and your family well as you adjust to this new chapter.

Best wishes

Conor
