We were recently on holiday in Arran and often visit this Island as a family. My Mum took unwell and the care and attention she received every step of her journey was amazing. From the initial call to the GP surgery where we spoke with the ANP to the referral to the hospital, arrival and treatment.
We arrived at the hospital and the door was opened for us and we were made welcome and we were showing to a waiting area. Within 5 minutes my Mum was taken through by Rachel the Nurse on duty. She was reviewed by Graeme the Doctor on duty and then transferred to a ward all within a short space of time. She was reviewed by Andrew the Doctor prior to discharge the following day and the care on the ward from all the Nurses was exceptional (I am sorry cannot remember all the names). Also a thank you to all the domestic staff too - we were so impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital. Everyone was kind, compassionate, caring and delivered exceptional care. You are such an asset to the hospital and the Island. We cannot say thank you enough!
