"Helped me open up, bond and talk"

About: Community Development Team (Social Work) / Men's Chat Cafe

(as a service user),

Going through a bad time lately mentally. I attended the fishing event organised through Kevin and Thomas and I loved it. I love outdoors and it was a great distraction and helped me open up, bond and talk. I've made friends of it. I have come to two sessions to the men's cafe. I have severe social anxiety and talking about my mental health and past experiences is virtually impossible, but men's cafe is easing that difficulty and helping me to open up and talk. Thanks to Kevin and Thomas.
