"Helped through a difficult time"

My son went for planned ENT surgery at DHH. Unfortunately surgery had to be stopped due to a bleed out and it was too high of a risk to continue.

My son is known to CAH and I knew instantly that's where he needed to be transferred too. Finally after a long wait we where transferred to the Blossom Ward from DHH.

When his nurse Nicola entered the room to take over his care from the ambulance crew I felt a sigh of relief.  Nurses Claire, Karly, Diana, STD Nurses, who all nursed him in the days to follow with such care and attention and helped make sure he was comfortable, to every single professional who checked in on us during our stay in Blossom I wont forget you, you all helped get us through a difficult time.  Thank you

Hello and thank you for your care opinion.

Thank you for your kind words and appreciation even during what was a very scary time for you and your family! It is so lovely to know that you felt comfort in Blossom. I know how hard our staff work at looking after the whole family and it does make it easier when we have a regular patient as that rapport is already there. I will certainly pass on your lovely feedback to all the staff involved.

I hope your soon is now recovering well and you are too!

Kind regards

Linzi Hughes
