"Ward staff"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I saw Love at work.

midst pain and sorrow,

despair for tomorrow.

I saw Love at work.

I wrote a poem about one of the staff,

Nurse Danni

She’s a Yorkshire lass,

bold as brass, full of sass.

Nurse Danni.

She’s a wife and a mam,

good at pushing a pram.

Catch her if you can,

Nurse Danni

Likes things tidy and neat,

thinks fast on her feet,

don’t mess, you’ll be beat,

Nurse Danni

Infectious smile,

laughs all the while,

always in style,

best Nurse by a mile.

Nurse Danni.

thank you all for

nursing me back to health

Dear Jay Poet

Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely poem about a member of the Team on the Cardiology Ward 22.

Patient feedback is very important to us here at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, both positive and negative, as it allows us to reflect on care given and how we can continuously improve.

Your poem will be shared with the team, and very much appreciated I am sure, especially by its subject, Nurse Danni.

Thank you again for your lovely feedback.
