"If it weren't for Inclusion I wouldn't be here now"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Winchester

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am 89 days alcohol free now. Doing the detox was the easy part. The worst part was walking out that door and realising I was on my own.

I'm keeping busy and active and going to meetings. I have not heard from a single one of my old drinking buddies to see how I am. I lost one of my old friends, which was alcohol, but in doing so I've gained so many more new friends.

Inclusion has helped me loads through the groups and meeting others in a similar predicament. It's nice to see some of the others doing well. Anytime I have a problem I can pick up the phone and talk to a key worker.

If it weren't for Inclusion I wouldn't be here now. If it wasn't for Trinity and having somewhere to go, I would be hanging out in places that were no good for me. Trinity have really helped us all with all the different services they offer:

- Art club

- G.P

- Women's group

- Laundry

- Food

- Inclusion

- Dentist

- Accommodation

- Clothing

Just getting off the street and having a meal is a real help.
