I attended today for a chest X-ray after being referred by my GP. The process was very smooth and efficient and I was kept informed by each member of staff I encountered. Following my X-ray the radiographer advised that she noticed I was on the waiting list for a CT head scan. She spoke with her manager and advised that I could pop along and be fitted in to have the CT scan done today. I'm very grateful that this was done for me and is just another great experience of the NHS despite the level of pressure it is currently experiencing. I just wanted to pass on my appreciation and thanks.
