"unacceptable appointment system"

I phoned five times trying to make an appointment. I was told no appoinments had yet been 'released' and the fifth time (less than an hour after the fourth attempt) that all apointments had 'gone'.

It seems that available appointment times and dates are made available ('released') at unpredictable times , and are then quickly snapped up by those lucky to phone at the right time. This is unacceptable. It is a failure to serve the public. One feels one is kept dancing on a string at their pleasure. It is stressful and humiliating, especially for someone feeling ill and needing a doctor.

I've been a patient here for 37 years and it used to be good. This apppintment system is a failure and needs changing.
