"Kind, caring and professional"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Gynaecology FAU (Ward 43) Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

Following the upset of two miscarriages in 2023, the midwives in the early pregnancy clinic said to contact them if i became pregnant again & that they would monitor my pregnancy with reassurance scans.

Thankfully I did become pregnancy again and i was booked in for a 6=week appointment without issue. All the staff were kind, caring and professional.

Michelle & Cailissa were the midwives who did the majority of my scans, and it was very reassuring seeing the progress through the few scans through the first trimester. They explained everything clearly which helped reduce the stress of pregnancy after loss.
