"I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Thorndale Unit Urology

(as a service user),

I have had to visit the Thorndale Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital on numerous occasions to have my catheter replaced over this past 11 months while I was awaiting a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate. I was so apprehensive, especially on my first visit, but at all times I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff I met, especially Jason and Clare, were excellent. They really made an anxious experience straightforward and less daunting. Any questions I asked are always answered well and everything was explained so clearly. Thank you all so much, it was really appreciated.
