Attended EPC Enniskillen due to a delayed miscarriage. Suzie is absolutely fantastic can't sing her praises enough, she has not an easy job. It's not the 1st time I've been needing this service.
Furthermore, I feel the system is wrong. Leaving women waiting for weeks to complete a miscarriage when all they want from the word go is surgical intervention is not right. Being through it before makes you more aware of what care you want. In my view, surgical intervention should be offered from the first appointment like in other trusts. It is mentally draining enough to be going through a miscarriage without it lingering on for weeks upon weeks.
Not to mention the entry to EPC! Having to walk in and out through women's health where there are women waiting on scans/appointments is not the way we should have to enter and exit when going through such a harrowing time. Alternate access should be the case.
