"The staff have been so kind to me"

About: Mid-Ulster Hospital / Rehabilitation ward

(as a service user),

I had a fall at home and fracture my leg, upon arriving to mid ulster I was nervous about another move to another hospital.

I didn’t need to be nervous as the staff have been so kind to me. They have treated me with respect, care, compassion.

The student nurse Eimhear was so kind to me and took the time to speak, smile and ask me how I am. She has a kind heart.

The nursing auxiliary Claire is extremely supportive, kind, asked me what would I like for my meals, takes the time to chat. This means a lot.

My name is Denise Quinn and I am an Assistant Director in the NHSCT. Thank you for taking the time to to share your recent experience in the Mid Ulster Hospital. A hospital stay can be a difficult and anxious time and it is very good to hear that your experience was positive and you were welcomed by the staff and treated with respect, care and compassion.

I will share your comments with the staff. It will mean a lot to know that you felt well cared for during during admission.

I wish you well in your ongoing recovery.

Kind Regards
