I went to x-ray as a referral from my GP with a suspected fracture in my foot. As a paraplegic, going into X-ray they were very helpful to my support worker and I. The staff were kind and considerate.
I had a fracture in my ankle which I then had to go to Minor Injuries the following morning through ED. This was arranged again through my GP and I was seen promptly by a lovely nurse, Eve, who was so cheerful and put me at ease.
I was then taken to minor injuries where again I was seen very quickly by a wonderful Nurse, Caramel, who was very detailed in explaining to me what the X-Ray showed, she talk me through all I needed to know re my injury and what would happen over the healing time.
She talked to me and as someone who is non verbal but can fully understand, this meant so much. The way this system works really well and quickly got me out and home.
