Audiology Hearing Aid Department

What an awful experience of this service.

I have never been able to contact by phone and gone completely deaf (both hearing aids faulty). It takes days to get an email response.

Dear Jeffer

I am very sorry that you have had such difficulty getting through to the audiology department. The service is extremely busy but they do have a 'drop off' service for repairs at the door and they will post your repaired aids out to you promptly.

the email address is the best way to contact the department: RVHaudiology@belfasttrust.hscni.net

The team have advised that all emails have been actioned and they are currently managing those that have come in today so please resend your email and it will be followed up.

There is also a voluntary service available via RNID and I have included the link below for you as some of these places might be easier for you to attend.

https://rnid.org.uk/information-and-support/local-support-services/services-directory/?lat=54.59728500000001&lng=-5.93012&cat=12&serviceID=hearing%2Baid%2Bsupport&origin=Belfast%2C+UK

Again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience on not having properly functioning hearing aids and hope you can get this resolved very soon.

Kind Regards

Ruth
