I am so glad that I was referred by Poole Hospital to Day Hospice for pain relief. Poole Hospital could do no more for my prostate cancer.
I find that going to Day Hospice is a great moral booster to my well being.
The nurses Sue, Susie and Tiana, and others are wonderful.
The nurses are there to help if I have a problem (like booting out my hearing aids)
Some weeks there are talks, music and in the summer outings. I enjoy talking to others there, it is a happy group.
I don't know how they can improve, they are wonderful.
The only thing I would like to have is longer time at the day hospice just to relax.
Everybody is so helpful.
And a great lunch always beautifully cooked.
On Tuesday afternoon - Today (Oakhaven) visits me at care home to have a chat and we have tea and cakes, all part of the care from Oakhaven.
"I don't know how they can improve, they are wonderful."
