I had a cholecystitis attack recently. I was at a and e via ambulance that day and back again and admitted 3 days later. Ambulance and A&E were under extreme pressure and even though there were waits, all staff were thorough and attentive, explaining what was happening to me at a level I understood. I was then transferred to Surgical 1.
Throughout this ongoing journey I cannot praise the staff I have come in contact with enough. They have so much to do with so little time and yet are attentive, polite and courteous. I feel I received very good nursing care from a team who care about the patient.
