"A great experience"

On 19/5/24 I had an appointment with the new Minor Injury Unit at  Altnagelvin as I had glass in my foot. Everything ran so smoothly from the minute I used the Call First service right up until I left the unit. I was in and out within 90 mins showing that it's a prompt and effective service.

I was treated by Geraldine and Michaela - they were both amazing! What I particularly liked was how informative they both were, every step was explained thoroughly - the what/when and how were all given to me and I really appreciate informed care as it leaves me feeling more in control and at ease.

The 2 ladies were so confident in what they were doing, full of knowledge and skills - giving me complete confidence in the service.

This service is so needed in our area, it was such a change to leave full of positive feelings. The selection of staff for this unit is spot on - they're intelligent, highly skilled, warm and friendly (the full package, which is a rarity).
