"Resilience workshop with move ahead"

About: Community Mental Health / Move Ahead - Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

(as a service user),

6 weeks of resilience workshops with Move Ahead. At the start I was apprehensive but from week to week I became more and more confident talking in the group and sharing experiences. Listening to people sharing what worked for them and what didn't work was also a very good tool on which to reflect. I enjoyed the content, especially looking at stressors and how to overcome them. The facilitators were lovely and adapted to my eye conditions and needs. I will recommend this workshop to friends and relatives.

Dear februaryxt93,

Many thanks for your wonderful feedback of your journey through the 6 weeks of the resilience workshops. It's great to hear what people find helpful, or not, so that the workshops can be tailored to reflect this for future groups.

I will pass your feedback onto the staff members that facilitated the group as they will be happy to know that you found the workshops helpful.

I am also happy to hear that your own needs and eye conditions were adapted to, and met successfully as we strive to pick venues to hold the workshops in which are accessible to all.

Once more, thank you for taking the time to share this part of your journey with us, it is very much appreciated. We would also like to take the time to wish you well for the future.

Regards

Richard Sime
