"Small actions make such a big impact"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Day Case unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My 2 year old son required an MRI brain scan. For this he needed a general anaesthetic and was admitted to the day case unit.

I would like to thank nurses Naomi and Kiran for the friendly welcome and for looking after my wee man post GA. Knowing he was with such kind nurses was such a reassurance. The entire unit itself was such a calm environment.

A big thank you also to Dr Paddy and nurses Aisling and Nicki (I hope I'm right with those names!) The girls drove my son around to MRI on the 'choo choo' and Dr Paddy allowed him to play in the anaesthetic room which was all lots of fun!

The team let me hold my son as he fell asleep which meant the world to me.

Small actions with such big impact.

Thank you all.
