My husband began losing his voice a couple of years ago and to cut a long story short was diagnosed with Vocal Chord Dysplasia.
He began treatment in the Queen Elizabeth hospital and after a couple of minor surgeries was recently given the all clear although his voice will remain a whisper.
Throughout this process every appointment he attended at the Queen Elizabeth was met with the most friendly, professional and caring staff from all the staff on the wards to the staff in clinic and the friendly guidance folk in reception. It is clean and well catered too.
The ENT staff and surgeons are exceptional and he is most grateful. I have been with him to some appointments and we have never been kept waiting and everything is well organised and friendly.
I feel sometimes in the past when there has been criticism of this hospital it has been harsh and unfair. As far as we are concerned it is an exceptional hospital and a credit to all who work there.
Thank you so much for your care.
