I was diagnosed with hepatitis C about 2 years ago now.
I was seen on a van and given treatment but didn't take it for ages.
The staff that helped me were really patient and never gave up. Because of having bad veins, I was tested using a finger prick on a machine and don't think I would have even had the treatment otherwise because you just can't get blood from me.
I started taking the hepatitis C medication towards the end of 2023 and the van came out again to take another blood test to see if the treatment had worked or not.
They called me later that day to tell me I don't have hepatitis C anymore and as I no longer do the things I did to get it in the first place, I'm really happy to know that I'm clear.
Really pleased with the service I have received throughout my treatment.
They have always been helpful and have been really patient with me.
A great team of people and I don't know what I would've done without them so thank you for everything you have all done.
