(as the patient),

I was admitted to 1 East gynae ward for a D&C after losing my baby at 9 weeks. 

Of course this was an incredibly sad time for myself and my husband, but made much easier due to the kindness and compassion I received during my stay. The nurses and the Consultant who performed my procedure were very considerate to the emotions I was experiencing and explained everything well but with great empathy. 

I also want to comment on the exceptional care I received in EPPC. I had been seeing the nurses in EPPC from very early on in my pregnancy and the time and support they gave me was incredible. 

Their kindness and understanding nature when delivering the news that my baby had passed away was truly appreciated by my husband and I. Especially from Pauline, Gillian and Darina. 

Overall these nurses made what was obviously a horrible time in our lives, much less traumatic. We want to thank them from the bottoms of our hearts.

Good Afternoon, thank you so much for taking the time to give such lovely feedback especially when you are going through such a difficult time in your life.

I am so sorry that you and your husband lost your baby but I'm thankful that your time was made easier in hospital due to the care and compassion you received. I will ensure that the nurses and doctor you have mentioned are made aware of your lovely words.
