"Who knew a colonoscopy could be a wonderful…"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital / Endoscopy

I attend Tiverton hospital for a follow up colonoscopy after an initial procedure at the RD&E and I cannot express how happy I was with my experience. It’s a shame I can’t name the staff because they were truly wonderful. Everyone I came into contact with, including my surgeon was just wonderful. So friendly and they went out of their way to normalise an uncomfortable experience and to put me at ease. From making jokes and sharing stories about their own lives to simply explaining everything that was happening in a really relatable, clear way. I cannot thank them enough and I really hope they know what a difference they make to their patients by taking the time to care. I’m likely to need repeat procedures yearly and I will be requesting to go back to Tiverton!
