About: Maternity care / Day Obstetrics Unit

(as a service user),

I attended the Day Obstetrics Unit in CAH for an iron infusion. From the minute I walked through the door to when I walked out again, I couldn’t have been happier with the care I received. 

The girls in the unit are so welcoming and friendly. They made me feel at ease immediately. We had great chats and lots of laughs as we prepared for my infusion and I just felt so relaxed. 

Claire was looking after me and she was exceptional. Such a personable lady that really cares for her patients. She went over and above her job description and I just felt so genuinely cared for as a patient. 

Hoping now the iron infusion does its job and I feel much better in the weeks ahead. I can guarantee that if I don’t though, it is through no fault of the girls in this unit. Exceptional care, exceptional team. Thank you for looking after me so well.
