"Friendly, supportive, excellent staff made my visit so positive."

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I went into have anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery today at Grantham Hospital surgery unit 1. I have been blown away by the care and attention I was given.

I was immediately met by Shelley, the nurse who was looking after me and she was absolutely incredible. She was so attentive, caring, kind and couldn’t do enough for you.

I am so grateful to have been at a hospital with friendly, supportive and excellent staff who made my visit so positive.

All the staff were amazing but a special thank you for Shelley.

Dear Kate2812

Thank you for these amazing comments and I have shared with the team – especially Shelley who you have mentioned – As Hub Matron it really is a real morale boost for me and all staff to read such lovely comments for your experience with us.

I hope you are recovering well and please take care – we really appreciate all of the comments and the time you have taken to send them in.

KR

Julie
