"Thrush check"

About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

Walked up to reception. Filled out a form. Was seated. Waited around 30 mins to be seen. Was checked and given treatment. Staff were all very polite and kind. They made me feel comfortable in a situation that for me feels somewhat awkward and uncomfortable so I appreciated that a lot.

They listened to what my thoughts were on the situation before hand and then made me aware of what would happen next and how I would be tested. They asked if I would like other tests while I was there such as a urine test or blood test. I took the urine test and will be receiving my results via text.

All around was good service and made to be as comfortable as possible. Made me much less anxious about potentially using sexual health services in the future if I were to need them.
