"Having bloods taken at renal clinic"

About: Exeter Community Hospital / Outpatients

(as a service user),

I needed bloods taken for a clinic appointment and have difficult veins. Daisy was unable to get blood at the first attempt, so she asked me to try a few things, warming my arms with hot water and moving them to bring up the veins. She was so kind and supportive and at the second attempt was successful. She was so patient and talked me through the process. Excellent care.

Hello septemberrb43

Thankyou for your feedback.

I am glad Daisy managed to get your blood test done and it went well. She is an excellent phlebotomist and loves to make her patients as reassured and comfortable as possible. She will be really happy to have the feedback from you-thankyou.

I hope if we see you again, it will all be just as positive.

Megan Freeman, Sister, GOPD Budlake
