"Impact of staff changes"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

to day shows again how eden ward patents are let down and not cared for.

i have been struggling for last few weeks and today has been one of the worst

i asked to see one of the regular HCH but she got moved again and in her place we got a male staff witch left 4 male and 1 female so pointlis move

this has left nobody on the ward that I feel i can open with how i am feeling and accept advice from

this feels like rampton not caring for their patents

Thank you for your care opinion and working with me as Eden's Quality Matron to further explore the issue.

We recognise on this particular day there were operational and skill mix issues that had to be balanced by staff moves. Unfortunately, there was also a higher than usual prevalence of annual leave and unavailability's with the staff members included within your core support team.

However, together we did acknowledge that there were some learning opportunities to be had from this scenario. I have shared that feedback with the ward leadership team so we can support newer staff to flourish and in turn better support yourself and your peers.

I will ensure that our operational colleagues have sight of your comment for awareness. It is important that we continue to work collaboratively and you feel able to raise and share any future concerns or concerns of the same theme.

Again, thank you,

Chloe.
