My son had a seizure in the swimming pool when we were on holiday abroad last year. At that point his seizures were poorly controlled.

After this, we had fortnightly phone calls to achieve titration off his old anti-seizure medication on to 2 new medications over the 12 month period: he is now nearly seizure free and was able to enjoy a holiday at the same place this year.

Throughout, the care and support to our family and to my son’s support staff was exemplary and crucial to keeping us going through difficult times.
