"Planned laparoscopic procedure"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I had a planned procedure at Tiverton Hospital, with the gynaecology team. I had the preop at RD&E and the actual procedure performed at TDH.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the nursing team in there and the auxiliary staff, they have been very well organised, amazing care and bedside manners, and I felt at ease and reassured every step of the way.

Communication between them, myself and the surgeon and anaesthetist has been beyond perfection. Special mention to Paula, Laura, Jaq, Dr Clark and the anaesthetist doctor which I cannot remember his name (apologies, I blame him, I was drowsy :) )

This is the best example of why services should keep on being sent to small hospitals as such, and why they should keep running.
