A huge thank you to Ewan Pow, Aberdeen First Responders, who attended my neighbour who took very unwell.
He was kind and personable to us all, but skilled and very focussed on stabilising my neighbour until the ambulance crew arrived. The time between his arrival and the ambulance was about 10 minutes and this was probably vital to my neighbour getting a good outcome.
I was astonished to find out that responders are volunteers, and are totally unpaid. He, like all of your volunteers, deserves recognition for the amazing job they do. His work in this instance made all the difference, and I think he should be commended for his dedication to the community here in Aberdeen.
A great asset to the Ambulance Service!
"Fantastic Volunteer"
