"Great experience with great staff"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as a relative),

My dad was contacted to go the the cardiology department at Hairmyres Hospital. When we arrived we were greeted and his name was taken and told to take a seat.  We probably only waited 10min before being taken through. 

The male member of staff who took as through was very nice and chatty, making my dad feel at ease. He explained the full procedure to us and how long it was going to take.

He was so professional and caring, talking to my dad all the time throughout the scan. He then explained what would happen with results and what to expect.  We were in and out in 45 min. Great experience with great staff.

Going through tests and investigations can be a stressful time for our patients and their loved ones, it is lovely to hear that your dad had a great experience and felt the staff were great too.
