"Podiatry Home Visit"

About: Podiatry - South Ayrshire

(as the patient),

I look forward to the visit, weekly now, fae Paul, apart fae the treatment and dressing, the sense of humour is fantastic. Just as with District Nurses, Louise & Sophie, it's a joy to welcome them into our home.

It is reassuring too that being as the Cellulitis is a lang term heal, to have this level of care.

I cant walk too far for other lang term health reasons, so the home visit is so critical for the time being.

Thank you

Dear RayFaeTroon

With apologies for the delay in responding to your lovely feedback, I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided by the Podiatry Service within South Ayrshire.

I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering from cellulitis, which is going to take some time to heal. It is, however, heartening to hear that Paul, your podiatrist, has been able to deliver such great care during his weekly visit to your home. This is a lovely example of the person centred care that we strive to deliver.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared with Paul and also with Louise and Sophie, your district nurses.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela

Thank you Pamela,

I'm glad the positive comments get to those who provide the service, and that as a patient, we get to know received too.

As you know, I'm quick to make a complaint, but equally quick, and more happier to share good comments.

Dear RayFaeTroon,

It is always lovely to hear from you.

We always appreciate it when our patients take the time to let us know that we're getting it right, or indeed, when there are improvements that we can make

I hope you are keeping well?

Best Wishes

Pam

Dear Pam,

Not keeping as well as I was during the times we met at Eglinton House, for the volunteer meetings with Karen. I still miss ED, especially the senior staff nurse, he is the guy who goes to the cinema a lot. I still have my award for 2022, great experiences all round. It was great to give something back.

It is important to me that folk are recognised in all walks of life, and this platform often gives voice to those who have done a fantastic job, especially when unwell.

You should read my previous stories going back and my thanks to those at the ambulance service who got me to Hairmyres. I still recall how having a first heart attack makes me laugh when I recall the story of the breakfast All Butter Croissant, extra butter, and chips for that evening meal. You could not write that menu for a heart patient 😉😂

Not forgetting the amusing transfer to Ayr, plied with Roses chocolates on the journey, and lots of laughter on that transfer. I promised not to divulge how I assisted the crew that night. So far I kept it.

Take care
