"Given my son excellent care, but also been there for me"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / West of Scotland Major Trauma Ward (ward 1c)

(as a parent/guardian),

My sons were in a car crash and one of them transferred by helicopter from Fort William to critical care for a few days then came to your lovely ward. The staff have been so supportive, what an incredible holistic ward this is. I am a nurse in Fort William so am very thankful and impressed with your services within the ward. You have given my son excellent care, but also been there for me, particularly the psychological team. Thank you so very much x

Dear Amy0

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Ward 1c with us. It is so encouraging to hear that you were so well looked after during what must have been a very stressful time.

I will ensure this feedback is shared with the team who will be absolutely delighted to receive it.

I hope both of your sons make a full recovery and wish you well going forward.
