"Really helpful Porter"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a relative),

Taking my Dad to RAH for a small procedure and on entering the main building we were trying to find our way to the Endoscopy Unit.

A very helpful Porter came along, and asked us if he could help us and got Dad a chair as it was a long walk for him (he is quite frail and elderly) and took us to the Unit. He was so reassuring, chatty and friendly.

What impressed me most was he instantly recognised my Dad’s care needs and responded quickly to them.

A big thank you to this Porter as you are great with supporting patients.

Dear Phil2070

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am delighted to hear about the helpfulness and kindness of the Porter who assisted you and your father. It is heartening to know that they quickly recognised your father's care needs provided reassurance, friendliness, and support. I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the Portering Team, which I’m sure will be greatly appreciated.

I hope your father’s appointment went well.

Best wishes

Nicole
