"Anxiety low self esteem social anxiety"

About: Adult Psychological Therapies Service / Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

(as the patient),

I had issues going out and socialising going to public places or on public transport. I would have severe panic attacks felt like i couldnt breathe overthinking ever thing. What people thought of what i was wearing, severe paranoia. I could not say no to people and never stood up for myself. I had no confidence and felt beneath people.

With the help of CBT i have learned skills in being more confident how to deal with anxiety to make myself a more positive person

Dear muscarn43,

Thank you so much for taking the time to send through you feedback about your experience of the CBT service.

It is very heartwarming to hear that CBT has taught you the skills to help you improve your confidence, how to deal with anxiety and to help you feel more positive. You should be very proud of the hard work that you have put in to practice these skills and benefit from them,

I will be sure to pass on this positive feedback to the team.

I would like to wish you all the best for the future.

Kind Regards

Debbie Proctor

Adult psychological therapy service co-ordinator
