"They need to understand that we're humans too"

About: Inpatient wards / Lotus assessment suite

(as the patient),

I am a domestic violence victim that was severely abused, all manners of abuse (physical, verbal, mental, sexually abused) and they were just asking me the same goddamn questions about why I was here and I kept repeating about the abuse I suffered. What’s even worse is that I was asked whether I wanted to go back to my abuser and it’s like no I do not, I just got ABUSED!!

And in terms of housing I basically had to do everything myself in terms of dialling the numbers and emailing the letter even though I am severely depressed and anxious and feeling soo crazy after the abuse! Like a domestic abuse victim should not have to go through sooo much distress!! They should be in charge of letters to housing, they need to understand that we're humans too!!!!🤬🤬🤬
