"He was very reliable and kept me informed"

About: District Nursing / Lymington Community

(as the patient),

At mid-October, I had a fall and cut my knee and had a large wound which was quite deep. I was visited at home by the Lymington community nurses who came to look after my wound.

Mike was made my key worker and he paid great attention to my wound and was enthusiastic to get it healed. He was very reliable and kept me informed about when my next visit would be. The service overall is fantastic!

My grandchildren were involved in my care when they were here on one of the visits and Mike gave them stickers. Mike has a very good personality and I wish him all the best success in his future.

Many thanks to all the other nurses in the team also that saw me and contributed to me getting better. My wound is now healed thanks to Mike and the team and I can finally have a shower properly without worrying about getting the dressing wet!
