"Thanks to all, you do such a good and selfless job"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Acute Medical Receiving Unit

(as a service user),

I recently got admitted to Monklands as I was having dizzy spells and collapsed suddenly at home. Although the wait to get in to hospital was very long, once I was admitted I would like to commend staff for their professional and person-centred care. Firstly I would like to mention Dr Ummi in the MRU unit who provided me with a very thorough and reassuring check up and came to check up on me later on the day in another ward too. The pregnant nurse in MRU  who walked me to the toilet when having dizzy spells. Then all nursing staff in the stroke unit, Dr Yates, Dr Clayton especially thanks for again for providing such a reassuring, professional check up and listening to my concerns and answering all my questions during a very worrying time for me. Dr Katie thank you for taking my concerns on board before my CT scan. Thanks to all, you do such a good and selfless job.

Dear Zee2024,

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch about your recent admission. I am sorry that you were unwell and needed to come into hospital but so pleased to hear that you felt cared for and looked after during your admission. It is so nice for our teams to get the positive feedback you have sent about your experience and we will be sure to share it with them.

I do hope you are continuing to recover at home and once again thank you for taking the time to share your journey,

Kind Regards

Claire
