To the entire Asha Team I wouldn't be able to sit here and write this now with a clear sober mind if it wasn't for each and everyone of you's. I came in early Nov petrified of the unknown, scared of meeting you all, expecting you all to be like prison officers Lol.

I was addicted to cocaine, cannabis and pregabalin and can proudly say i am off everything now but i could not have done it without you all helping me. From the minute I set foot inside the door it is warm and welcoming and everyone is lovely.

I threw the dummy out of the pram a few days in (sorry Maria!) but somehow turned it around, put my head down and done the work i needed to do. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt excited about the future or even felt this good within myself.

With the help of Dr.Kinch I was finally able to accept a friends death and that it was not my fault and I am not to blame. Emma was able to assist me with all my Zoom meetings. She helped me look for signs in my recovery to watch for incase I lapse etc.

A few days into my stay my tooth got sore as the filling came out and they were quick getting me seen and getting it removed. The lovely Tanya took me over, she is so positive and happy and always had good wee chats with her.

My named nurse was Tracy who was lovely also. Naomi, Yvonne and Maria i could talk to you's the easiest from day 1. I have enjoyed groups with all 3 of you, you's are always having a laugh with myself and other patients but i wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of you's LOL!!...thankfully that didn't happen...again thanks so much for your support, help and pep talks. Wee Rae with tiny feet only met you a few times but thanks for all your help also. Eimear and Valerie i blame you for the love handles that have appeared the last few weeks. The food can be hit or miss but mostly good. Maureen and Frances it was a pleasure getting to know you both on our daily walks.

Routine is important and you's are BIG on routine in Asha that i lacked at home.

To John and Sean...i don't know what is worse John's jokes or Sean's sense of humour...you also helped me alot.

Eamonn you are a true Gent and I can not thank you enough for all your help and words of wisdom. You all made me feel so welcome, loads of highs, laughs and very little lows. Without you all I would not be clean and sober now and thanks to you all my children have their mother back, my mum and dad have their daughter back and my siblings have their sister back.

Hand on heart you's have changed my life. I will be forever thankful.

Dear 'Jessie24'

I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to provide this wonderful piece of feedback. Your feedback has been shared with all staff within Asha.

Your comments will provide some reassurance to other people in need, as often people are hesitant to come through our doors due to fear of the unknown. You have painted a very positive picture which will hopefully provide some inspiration to others.

You engaged with the Asha programme very well from day one and it was very clear you were ready and motivated for change. On behalf of the Asha team, we wish you all the best on your continued recovery and hope you have a peaceful xmas.
