"The staff who are the backbone of this are truly amazing"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Saw first hand how amazing this group of staff are. Attended A and E with a relative recently and I can honestly say that the staff endure an enormous workload, dealing with very ill patients in the most difficult of circumstances.

Special mention to Abbie and Mark in triage who worked tirelessly and treated every patient with respect, dignity and some banter.  There is no way these staff get the respect they deserve. None of us want to be in the position that we need to use this service but the staff who are the backbone of this are truly amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of the Emergency department at Craigavon Area Hospital. I will share your kind words with Abbie, Mark and the ED team
