"The staff were brilliant, caring and compassionate"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU)

(as a relative),

My husband was admitted to Adult Critical Care at Wishaw Hospital. He was in a coma on a ventilator. The staff were brilliant, caring and compassionate. They kept me informed at all times and were respectful of myself and our family. Despite their excellent care my husband died 6 days after admission. The staff were supportive of us at that difficult time and treated us with kindness and compassion. Thank you to all.
