"Left feeling informed and like the staff really cared"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Primary Care Out of Hours

(as a service user),

We called NHS24 after our 6-week baby became unwell. We were given an appointment at the Out of Hours service in Douglas Street, Hamilton. We were called by a very pleasant member of staff to confirm our appointment. When we arrived, we were seen promptly and both the member of staff who took our daughter’s initial obs and the GP who we saw afterwards were extremely pleasant and had the most wonderful manner with our wee girl. We were referred up to hospital and left feeling informed and like the staff really cared.

We are so grateful to all staff for their care.

Good morning Sophia's mum.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about your positive experience you had when you had to attend the Primary Care Out of Hours, Douglas Street, Hamilton for an appointment with your daughter.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the team, they will be grateful that the care given to your daughter was appreciated and you felt informed of the treatment plan.

I hope your daughter is now at home recovering.

Take care, Pamela.
