"Surgical assessment unit"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Surgical Observation Unit

(as a service user),

I was referred to surgical assessment unit on Friday afternoon by my GP with suspected gall stones. I was seen really quickly and treated by really caring, professional and empathetic staff within 2 hours from assessment to having bloods, seen a consultant and got meds to take home.

I went back today and again the staff, particularly Emma and Becca couldn’t have been any better. They were so kind, caring and reassuring. Couldn’t ask for any better. Well done and keep up the great work. You are very much appreciated. Thanks
