"An understanding and friendly voice"

About: Children and Young People Services / Autism Services

(as a parent/guardian),

I made a telephone call to the Autism team in Armagh and selected to speak to the assessment team.

When the call was answered I got speaking to a lovely girl called Sarah who was so helpful and friendly. She reassured me that my daughter was still on the assessment list and would be called for an assessment appointment.

As it is a worrying time and there is uncertainty when you are waiting for your child to be assessed it is lovely to ring a service and have an understanding and friendly voice take your call.

Thank you Autism team, as always a great service 😊

Thank You 'EMO1' for your feedback on your recent contact with the Autism Service. I am delighted that Sarah was friendly and helpful.

Within Autism Services we understand that it is a worrying time for parents/carers when their child/young person is on a waiting list for assessment and we want families to feel they can contact us at any time to seek support, advise and reassurance.

I will be sure to share your feedback with Sarah and the team.
