"call from the early intervention team"

About: Children and Young People Services / Autism Services

(as a parent/guardian),

Today I received a call from Jennie in the early intervention team within the Autism service. I have recently received some advice and support from Jennie and she was just ringing to check in with how my daughter is getting on as she waits for her assessment. This was lovely. I was so pleased that she had taken the time to give me a call as I know it is an extremely busy service. She was lovely and friendly and we had a lovely conversation about my daughter's progress. She advised I could call the service at any time if I feel I need help from the early intervention service again.

Thank you 'EMO1' for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent phone call with Jennie from Autism Services.

I am delighted to hear that you have availed of support from Jennie whilst your daughter is on the waiting list for an assessment. We know that it can be a worrying time for parents/carers whist their child/young person awaits an assessment. The Autism Service want parents/carers to feel reassured that they can contact the service and avail of support and advise as required through our virtual parent information sessions or telephone advice line.

I will be sure to share your feedback with Jennie and other members of the team.
